Terms & Conditions

Please carefully read and understand the following Terms & Conditions before using CoreImprove’s services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all estimates, proposals, and services provided by
Core Improve. By approving an estimate, signing an agreement, or submitting a deposit, the
client acknowledges that they have read and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Deposit & Scheduling
A 50% deposit is required to reserve a project slot and begin project planning, scheduling,
and material coordination. Deposits allow Core Improve to allocate labor, schedule the
project, and coordinate materials required for the job. Project scheduling begins only after
the required deposit has been received.Accepted payment methods: Credit card (3% processing fee applies), Zelle (no additional fee), check, or cash. Full payment must be issued immediatly after service is done.

2. Cancellation Policy
If the project is cancelled before work begins, Core Improve retains 20% of the total project
price as a cancellation fee to cover administrative costs, scheduling adjustments, and
project preparation. Any remaining portion of the deposit will be refunded. If materials
have been ordered, permits obtained, or work has already begun, those costs are nonrefundable and will be deducted from any refund.

3. Scheduling
Project start dates are tentative and may be affected by factors outside the company’s
control including weather conditions, permit processing timelines, material availability, and
scheduling adjustments. Core Improve will make reasonable efforts to communicate any
scheduling changes.

4. Change Orders
Any work requested by the client that is not included in the original scope of work must be
approved through a written change order. Change orders may result in additional costs,
material changes, or scheduling adjustments. Core Improve is not obligated to perform
additional work until a change order has been approved.

5. Right to Suspend Work
Core Improve reserves the right to suspend work if scheduled payments are not made
according to the agreed payment terms. Work will resume once outstanding payments are
satisfied.

6. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
The client agrees to contact Core Improve directly to resolve any billing concerns before
initiating a credit card dispute or chargeback. If a chargeback is initiated for work
performed or materials ordered according to the approved agreement, Core Improve
reserves the right to pursue recovery of the disputed amount including administrative
costs, collection fees, and legal expenses where permitted by law.

7. Customer Responsibilities
The client is responsible for removing furniture, grills, planters, and personal items from
the work area prior to project start. The client must ensure safe access to the job site and
notify Core Improve of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or property conditions
that may affect construction.

8. Permits & HOA Approvals
Unless otherwise specified in the estimate, the client is responsible for obtaining any
required HOA approvals or permissions before project start. Permit requirements will be
handled as outlined in the approved estimate.

9. Property Protection
Core Improve will take reasonable precautions to protect surrounding landscaping and
property during construction. However, due to the nature of construction work, minor
disturbances to grass, plants, or surrounding areas may occur and are considered normal
jobsite conditions.

10. Material Price Adjustments
If material prices increase significantly after the estimate is approved but before materials
are ordered, Core Improve reserves the right to adjust the project price accordingly. The
client will be notified and must approve the adjustment before materials are purchased.

11. Natural Wood Characteristics
Wood is a natural material and may expand, contract, crack, warp, or change color due to
weather, moisture, and natural aging. These characteristics are normal and are not
considered defects in workmanship.
